Pugh Analysis

Pugh Analysis is a type of analysis used in Six Sigma projects that compares the benefits of alternative solutions. It uses a matrix approach:

Around Ear
In ear

-1
+1
Battery Life
0
0
+1
Passive Sound attenuation
0

Active Sound attenuation

Total:

The alternative in the first column is allocated a '0' in every category. If an alternative is better in that category it is given a '+1', if worse '-1'
