Process Maps and Flow Charts show the activities in a process, and their sequence:
Creating a process map is one of the first steps in a Six Sigma project.
Process Maps and Flowcharts are often regarded as synonymous although Process Maps have more detail and include a timeline. Process maps are more detailed than SIPOC diagrams.
